[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#401780: alsa-base: no sound with VIA 8235

The problem is quite simple: No sound.  The card appears to have
been detected correctly (see below).  I am also part of the audio group:

alsamixer and gnoma-alsamixer agree that the volume is larger
than zero, but nothing works.
