Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.13-2
Severity: important
The mentioned sound card (integrated in asus a7tc laptop) seems not working
in debian etch rc1. In the beginning, it seemed to have some activity (the
input and output sound monitoring in audacity worked fine, but without
audible sound output), but after some tentative to repair this problem, it
does not work at all (btw., in ubuntu edgy eft, it worked after some manual
tweaking /at the start, ubuntu identified the integrated tuner as primary sound card
/. But the most recent alpha version of the future ubuntu 64 bit seems not
working./) I would be very happy if I could use the sound card in my laptop
in the final version.
