[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#403947: alsa-base: no sound with snd-ens1371

No sound with snd-ens1371. I have tried unmuting all channels, alsaconf, modifying 
/etc/modprobe.d/sound as detailed on alsa web site. Sound used to work with Sarge without any 
additional configuration.
I use a laptop which is about 8 years old.
