Please don't hack in that way. I you can not wait:

$ wget http://incoming.debian.org/alsa-lib_1.0.11-7.diff.gz
$ wget http://incoming.debian.org/alsa-lib_1.0.11-7.dsc
$ rm -rf alsa-lib-1.0.11/
$ dpkg-source -x alsa-lib_1.0.11-7.dsc
$ cd alsa-lib-1.0.11
$ debuild
