The libs where build as follows:
../configure --prefix=/usr \
--mandir=\$${prefix}/share/man \
--infodir=\$${prefix}/share/info \
--datadir=\$${prefix}/share \
--host=$(DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE) \
--enable-static --disable-maintainer-mode
where --enable-shared[=PKGS] build shared libraries
points by default to yes
