Can you check whether you have:

There's a patch to revert an upstream ALSA change somewhere in the
linked bug reports. The issue has been uncovered because a GStreamer
element is now capable of outputting 32-bits samples; as it was only
16-bits in the past, it didn't expose the underlying ALSA bug.
