Hi, Elimar. 


Okay, I removed the /etc/modules hack and tried
without it.
As expected, the error showed up again. Then, I
applied
the patch you gave me at line 15. I restarted the
computer several times and it worked fine every time.
The
module loaded each time. Thank you very much!
