[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#408506: Reproduced on another machine

I now get the same problem on another machine, pure i386 (no amd64
kernel), with the precompiled linux-image-2.6.18-4-686, directory
/var/lib/alsa empty, audio chip:

00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio (rev 03)


Note that I do _not_ get the problem on an amd64 machine (both kernel
and userspace) with linux-image-2.6.18-3-amd64 and:

00:04.0 Multimedia audio controller: nVidia Corporation CK804 AC'97 Audio Controller (rev a2)

This may be the same as bug#381171?
