[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#416065: alsa-base: No sound with Intel ICH5 with default configuration

After a migration from Sarge to Etch there is no sound with any application. 
My mother board is an asus P4P800 with Intel ICH5.

I had already detected this problem on sarge, it appeared after a sarge update.

The solution to get sound is to change mixer configuration, I used Kmix and changed
"channel mode" from "2ch" to "4ch".

In consider this problem as an impotrant bug as finding the solution is not trivial
and a system without sound is not suitable for many persons.
