Hmm, I can't reproduce that behaviour.
Linux version 2.6.24-rc2-frodo (riesebie at frodo)
ii alsa-utils 1.0.15-1
00:08.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 08)
Using kmix tweaking Master works perfect. It seems to be a driver
bug?
