Elimar, I checked the bugs closed just to be sure nothing bad is slipping by,
as this package will be closely scrutinised if it has to reach testing.
I changed the changelog as follows:
* New upstream release.
- closes: #400612, Migrating to sarge to etch, options device_mode left around FIXME
- closes: #401780, no sound with VIA 8235
- closes: #467421, FTBFS timer.c
- closes: #490710, fails to compile with kernel-source-2.6.25-2
- closes: #405678, Should recommend module-assistant and linux-header FIXME
- closes: #493543, please update to version 1.0.17
- closes: #374355, Please make loading of OSS compatibility modules (debconf-)optional FIXME
- closes: #484441, Headphone jacks on nVidia MCP67 laptops do not work
- closes: #491576, Please package 1.0.17
I don't see any changes in the changelog that address bugs marked with "FIXED". Am I missing something?
Also,
Due to no response anymore: FIXME this should be done via BTS.
(closes: #416065, #271577, #367773, #375892, #428201, #428546, #434572,
#439759, #446968, #455521, #460410, #476711, #382302, #407993, #459461,
#366342, #402446, #439072, #469093, #473813, #451124)
We shouldn't close changelogs via changelogs if the upload isn't fixing them. I
can close them by hand via normal email instead. This was common before in
Debian uploads, but is now considered bad practice.
