I believe my report was clear enough :-(

I don't use this laptop for music - the sounds I play are all of this
type, short blurbs.  Alerts for instant messaging, alerts when my
opponent moves in the chess game, etc. etc.  Do you think it is not
a problem when these get cut off?  I think the files in /usr/share/sounds/alsa
were meant for accessibility - audible feedback for people who don't
get a full visual one.  Still not a problem?
