Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.16-1
Severity: normal

Following error occurs:
- right channel is quieter then the left channel and the sound is very noisy
- if the PCM control is changed from 100% to a lower value, the noise in right channel jumps to the same level as of the master control
- so the PCM control has three level for the right channel
100% - quiet and very noisy
  0% < x < 100% - noise at the lavel of master control
  0% - mute

The error doesn't occur with the libasound2 1.0.13-2. At least these files
  /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf
  /usr/share/alsa/pcm/default.conf
  /usr/share/alsa/pcm/dmix.conf
needs to be copied from this package to get the sound working. I assume there must a setting in one o those files hich prevent the
soundcard from working.
