Hello, I upgraded alsa-base to 1.0.17.dfsg-2 again, and now softvol works. I don't really know what the problem was, probably something went wrong during the first upgrade but not the second... Anyway, I guess this bug isn't really one (at least not in alsa-base). Best regards, Christian Ohm
