[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#500162: alsa-base: Does not mute internal lapotp speakers when external speakers jack inserted

Severity: important

The internal laptop speakers are not muted when I plug external loudspeakers. 
This seems a common problem and should probably reported upstream, however, 
that is a bit too much for a basic user.

The laptop is an Asus PRO72S, Debian is updated to Unstable today.
