Please add the following to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf (oneliner):
install snd-emu10k1 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-emu10k1 && { /sbin/modprobe --quiet snd-emu10k1-synth ; : ; }

Test again and report please.
