Hi, I was about to respond to that.
So yes, loading that module creates the devices and everything works.

But it should be auto-loaded.
Who is supposed to load it ?

For now, I can do it the wrong way and go ahead and add the entry in 
/etc/modules. But I don't want to do that.

Please help me. This is not an alsa bug anymore. Just please tell me which app 
does the device probe and load of modules during boot.
