[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#539526: alsa-utils: missing dependency on package that provides smixer-python.so

Package: alsa-utils
Version: 1.0.20-2
Severity: normal

When running alsamixer -a basic, I get the following message:

chant at chanxbox:/data/src/snd_mixer$ alsamixer -a basic
ALSA lib simple_abst.c:131:(try_open_full) Unable to open library '/usr/lib/alsa-lib/smixer/smixer-python.so'

alsamixer: function snd_mixer_selem_register failed: No such device or address

I imagine this is as a result of an unfilled dependency of alsa-utils.
