It isn't the syntax of /usr/share/alsa/init/default. It works for
ages now. We sould find the correct driver for youre hardware. Let's
run a debug procedure:

cat /proc/asound/version
cat /proc/asounf/cards
lsmod | grep snd
cat /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf
cat /etc/modprobe.d/sound
cat /etc/modules | grep snd
