OK, here is the result:

# cat /etc/modules
# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file should contain the names of kernel modules that are
# to be loaded at boot time, one per line. Comments begin with
# a `#', and everything on the line after them are ignored.

I have tried everything as a root. I tried as a normal user in 'audio'
group, and got the same result.

# ls -l /dev/dsp
crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 3 Feb 4 18:53 /dev/dsp
