You can create a local file which won't be updated by an ugrade:
echo "options snd-hda-intel model=targa-dig" >> /etc/modprobe.d/local_options.conf
Thanks for the hint ;-) Could the others please test this as well?
Maybe another model out of kernels
Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio-Models.txt could help?
