I need a sound test tool that allows me to testing all the sound
channels and sound devices automatically. 
The program must tests each channel and each component, and then asks
for each test individually (write to a log-file).

What sound device use the game Neverball (by default)?
I can now hear the tone at the GNOME soundtest, if I choose USB Audio
and press the test buttons. Enclosed I send screen shots.
