Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.17.dfsg-4
Severity: important
Following an upgrade to lenny, my 'terratec phase 26 usb' sound card is no longer fully supported by debian.
This card features a switch to change the bit level and frequency of the card. On etch it works fine with all
settings, on lenny only with the lowest quality setting of 16/48.
Setting the card, eg. to 24/48 leads to the following segmentation fault:
$ aplay -l

Segmentation fault
The card will work on 16/48, but it is little use having a high quality sound card, if only the lowest quality
is supported. The card is reported to work fine with alsa's upstream code.
Cheers,
Johannes
