[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#557319: alsa-base: no sound in alsa, due to USB

Dear Sir, 

All new machines are doing this issue under testing and unstable debian. The problem was never reported under Debian Stable.

I plug m   
microphone, and start the pc, and get no sound. I restart without the usb microphone plug and I get sound.
the problem is that /dev/dsp and /dev/dsp1 are inverted.

there is no installer or configurator to switch them.
and it shall be first the card
and after the USB in the order. 

please correct the issue and leave it like it was in previous debian version .

error in totem, .... everything. NO SOUND. 

The previous DEBIAN STABLE version were always workign concerning that before.

I certainly have helped with this post, to some users having same issue.
