Seems to be 1.0.16. But the bug is gainst 1.0.20?

An error in dh_fixperms usually means no rights to change
permissions. Please build the package as follows:
$ mkdir $HOME/tmp
$ cd $HOME/tmp
$ apt-src install alsa-lib
$ cd alsa-lib-1.0.21
$ debuild
This has the advantage that you can always check the .build

We run dh_clean before each build via debian/rules. So that doesn't
matter.
