Daniel, I sending the requested files.
1. alsa-info.txt: this file containing Alsa-info.sh produced results.
2. amixer-bad.txt: this file containing bad amixer values. I using
Elimar attached sound_2.sh file to simulate the alsa-utils restart
operation. Before I ran this script, I restore original Squeeze now
awailable /etc/init.d/alsa-utils script with not containing the final
accepted patch. Only I think the 'Speaker',0 toggle is setted with 0%.
Unfortunately when I ran alsactl init script, the mixer values is not
changed, for example the speaker volume is not reduced with 0%, so I
choosed this method to record the difference.
3. amixer-my-preferred-settings.txt: this file containing my preferred
mixer settings (master volume, mic boost, front mic boost, capture and
digital mixer toggles).

If I remember right, final accepted only a limited patch with fix only
the speaker volume increasing with 80%, this is absolute enough because
I hear right the screen reader output when I would like customizing the
mixer settings with a fresh installed system.

If you need more informations or more tests, I welcome doing the testing
tasks.

Attila
