On top the alsa source package doesn't build with 2.6.33. It doesn't
find the files in linux/include/generated -> m-a build? or
make-kpkg?

I am at a point where I can't figure out a solution. Are there some
hints available from the so called "Debian Alsa Team"? Are we able
to brainstorm to a solution?

1.0.23 will be released in about 8 weeks. Is that enough time to
clean up alsa-lib and alsa-drives at least for fixing RC bugs and
  compiling well?
