Hi,

A new release of ALSA was announced a week ago. I'm going on vacation
soon, so I won't be able to help with the associated tasks, not even
uploading, before the 17th of January or so.

If Elimar or/and Dan work on packaging it before, it could be a good
idea to try to get sponsorship from debian-mentor, or if Dan can get
an Ubuntu developer who is also a Debian developer helping out with that,
it'd be OK too.

Otherwise, we'll only be seeing 1.0.22 uploads 1 month after the release...
