Elimar, I think we should go ahead and do one of these two:

1) upload as-is, and make the GCC regression RC;
2) compile using GCC 4.3. This isn't really, really terrible if it's
   temporary.

What do you think?

I'll start building some packages tonight, leaving out alsa-lib.
