Please, keep the following between your left and right ear:

There will *_never_* be an alsa version which will fix your non
existant bug!

As told you many, many times before: There won't be!

Please could you send the output of

# cat /proc/asound/cards
and
# lsmod | grep snd

while all your sound devices are attached.

I'll help you to fix it by aour self then.

And please stop trolling the DebianBugTrackngSystem!
