Any audio source for any player I choose to use (either video or audio) causes
my audio to have a loud chirping noise that increases in intensity and
frequency as the sound source gets more complex. I've been forced to
completely mute my sound since listening to anything is not possible. I see no
errors in any of my logfiles concerning my sound card or applications that are
using it. I'm including some command outputs in hopes it will help identify
the issue:
