Could you please try the following:

Create /etc/modprobe.d/alsa_local.conf containing:

# BEGIN
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel id=VT82xx index=0

alias snd-card-1 snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel id=HDMI index=1
# END

reboot and test again?
