To make things worse, the script /usr/sbin/alsa (which, btw, lacks a
manpage) uses /etc/default/alsa. However, if I install just the unstable
(1.0.25+2+nmu1) alsa-base package, only /etc/default/alsa-base gets
created, so the script is non-functional. I assume that the goal was to
actually rename the file in /etc/default to match the package name, but
then of course its users must be changed, too.
