I swear I'm losing my mind....  I booted back to
linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64 from unstable and sound is working.  To
further my tenuous grip on reality, I downgraded to
linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64 from testing and sound is also working.  The
wife has confirmed that she heard me cursing about sound not working
last night.  These are the facts.  Lets just close this bug and forget
this ever happened.
