[Pkg-alsa-devel] alsa-lib, and the libcxxtools-dev build dependency.

Hi Elima,
I'm currently working with Jordi to reduce the Ubuntu alsa delta, and one change that Ubuntu currently carries is dropping of libcxxtools-dev from alsa-lib's build dependencies, as it is in our universe archive, not in main where alsa-lib exists, so universe packages cannot be used by main packages.

Anyway, I have been digging through the Debian package and alsa-lib source to find references to cxxtools, and I have also checked the dependencies of the Debian packages. Not one binary .deb package has a dependency on libcxxtools, and I couldn't find any references to it in the ALSA source. I also note that in the debian changelog, you didn't give any further explanation beyond stating that you added it to Build-Depends, svn revision 2165, debian upload version 1.0.19-1.

If there is a good reason why the Debian package needs this build dep, or there is somewhere in the alsa package that uses libcxxtools that I missed, I propose that this build dependency be dropped, as it appears to be useless.

Thanks for your time.

Luke
