[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#703775: alsa-base: ALSA does not recognize and display center and LFE controls with VideoLogic SonicFury (snd-cs46xx)

I cannot get surround sound with VideoLogic SonicFury sound card (snd-cs46xx)
and Debian 6.0.7.

Using Fedora 18 Live (with ALSA packages versions 1.0.25 and 1.0.26) I found
that the problem is in default values for center and LFE controls which are set
to 0. If I change this value I am able to get surround sound.

However I do not see these controls in Debian's alsamixer at all - this way I
cannot unmute center and LFE channels.
