[Pkg-alsa-devel] Directories created in root file system by alsa-utils

Dear maintainers,
thank you for all the hard work you do.
On Debian GNU/Linux 7.6 (wheezy), a /.pulse directory and
a /.pulse-cookie file is created. From googling, I understand this is
caused by alsa-utils. Should not these files be created in a more
suitable location?
Perhaps this is already fixed, but in the event it is not, I thought I'd
let you know.
I hope this is the right place to let you know about the issue.
