The listing you did in the past shows 2 HDMI entries:


$ aplay -l

    card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]
      Subdevices: 1/1
      Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

The new entries in your .asoundrc should push device 3, which is the
second entry from above, to the first.

What tells

  $ cat $HOME/.asoundrc

?
