Try as follows ;-)

$ LC_ALL=C ls -al ~/.asoundrc
ls: cannot access '/home/users/riesebie/.asoundrc': No such file or directory

Well, it seems that you don't have pulseaudio nor libasound2-plugins
installed. Otherwise you should have an output of:
