Dear Maintainer,
After a fresh installation of Debian on my GPD Pocket 1, there is no sound.
I've updated my system to sid, hoping the issue would be fixed there, but it's not.
The sound was working correctly with the previous ubuntu (initially modified with things like https://github.com/stockmind/gpd-pocket-ubuntu-respin/blob/master/audio/HiFi.conf ).
Currently, pavucontrol shows an audio output device called "Pro Audio" and playing sound seemsto work (the player is stuck, I can see the vumeter moving in pavucontrol)...
but I don't hear anything from speaker or headphones.
syslog has also these messages repeated over and over:
[174899.046296] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port
[174899.046317] Audio Port: ASoC: error at dpcm_fe_dai_prepare on Audio Port: -22
[174899.047672] Deep-Buffer Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Deep-Buffer Audio Port
[174899.047690] Deep-Buffer Audio Port: ASoC: error at dpcm_fe_dai_prepare on Deep-Buffer Audio Port: -22
[174899.167717] Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port
[174899.167738] Audio Port: ASoC: error at dpcm_fe_dai_prepare on Audio Port: -22
[174899.170218] Deep-Buffer Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Deep-Buffer Audio Port
Grepping ucm files, I see references to the chip (chtrt5645) my laptop has. There's even mentions of gpd-pocket in a cof file.
Filling a bug in alsa-ucm-conf as people with similar error usually fix it by installing correct ucm files. But these are also found in old forums messages that points to obsolete github package for UCM files...
Feel free to tell me if this is not an UCM issue and I should report this issue somewhere else
thanks,
Marc
