That sounds even better indeed. I. e. have an early-run unit for the
/etc cache which is Before=network-pre.target and stuff, and a "late"
unit for clicks with the /var bits; this can then have $remote_fs and
the usual DefaultDependencies and all bells and whistles.

I suggest coordinating with Jamie Strandboge and Tyler Hicks (the
Ubuntu package maintainers and upstream). TBH I was quite surprised to
find the click package stuff in the Debian package in the first place.
But if you want to keep it, splitting the systemd job in the Debian
package as well makes sense to me IMHO.
