Sorry for being late, but I just found a little error ;-)

Your text says git branch, git checkout, edit the profiles, git push. 
I'd expect a "git commit -a" before git push ;-)

That's not a big issue (everybody familiar with git will know "commit" 
is needed - or even won't notice that you don't mention it [1]).
Nevertheless, it would be nice to explicitely mention git commit ;-)
