Just curious - what exactly is the issue with the dovecot profiles?

I ship them enabled by default in openSUSE since years and got very few 
bugreports for them, which means they can't be too bad ;-)

Of course, you might need to adjust @{DOVECOT_MAILSTORE} in 
tunables/dovecot, but either the default paths work for most people, or 
they find out about this tunable before opening a bugreport ;-)
