Source: libfido2
Version: 1.6.0-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
The check for -fstack-protector-all is successful:
-- The C compiler identification is GNU 10.3.0
-- Detecting C compiler ABI info
-- Detecting C compiler ABI info - done
-- Check for working C compiler: /usr/bin/cc - skipped
-- Detecting C compile features
-- Detecting C compile features - done
-- Performing Test HAVE_SHORTEN_64_TO_32
-- Performing Test HAVE_SHORTEN_64_TO_32 - Failed
-- Performing Test HAVE_STACK_PROTECTOR_ALL
-- Performing Test HAVE_STACK_PROTECTOR_ALL - Success
But this option causes a warning and the build fails because of the
-Werror option. Possibly, the -Werror option needs to be used in
the HAVE_STACK_PROTECTOR_ALL check.
Regards,
Dave Anglin
