As far as I can tell, lots of packages in the archive use the trailing
comma convention (morfessor is an example) and the QA services don't
complain. I have no idea why, but the only thing that complained about
the missing comma in Uploaders was the build log scanner.
BTW, I use this to do wrapping/sorting of debian/control:
wrap-and-sort --short-indent --wrap-always --sort-binary-packages --trailing-comma
