Justification: fails to build from source

Builds of libindicate-qt are failing on some architectures because the
set of defined symbols varies across architectures.  Could you please
account for that, either by marking more symbols as optional or by
supplying architecture-specific lists, using #include directives as
appropriate to avoid duplication?
