Hi Ted,
as you may probably know, Debian will freeze on the 30th of June [1].
As I intended to follow Ubuntu's LTS release for Wheezy (it's easier to
steal updates meant for a LTS release :)), I am wondering how your
update plan looks like. Let's take dbusmenu as an example (it's the only
one that got a new version in Quantal already):
libdbusmenu | 0.6.1-0ubuntu3 | precise | source
libdbusmenu | 0.6.2-0ubuntu1 | quantal | source
Is 0.6.2 meant to be backported to Precise at any time soon? Or will
Precise get 0.6.1-0ubuntu4 if fixes are needed?
Debian currently has 0.6.1-2, which is based on 0.6.1-0ubuntu3 and I
wonder whether I should update to 0.6.2 for Wheezy or not?
Greets
Evgeni
