Hi Cameron,

Sorry for the very late reply! I'm curious as to what you are using
ido for in Debian. I actually recently suggested it might be time to
remove the pkg-ayatana package's from Debian:

If there are people using them and willing to maintain them, then we
certainly don't want to do that. Though the current team doesn't seem
to be active at all. Judging by the fact that your mail is one of the
very few asking to update these packages, I'd guess they don't have an
active user base in Debian. My personal use for these packages was to
improve the Gnome 2 experience. That use case is long gone.
