[Pkg-ayatana-devel] Bug#894884: Doesn't show anything under X11 or Wayland

Hi,
starting vala-panel on a X11 based gnome-session gives:

    $ vala-panel
    
    ** (vala-panel:10456): WARNING **: 10:21:47.654: applet-holder.vala:106: Could not find plugin: wincmd
    
    ** (vala-panel:10456): WARNING **: 10:21:47.654: applet-holder.vala:106: Could not find plugin: pager
    
    ** (vala-panel:10456): WARNING **: 10:21:47.655: applet-holder.vala:106: Could not find plugin: tasklist
    
    ** (vala-panel:10456): WARNING **: 10:21:47.655: applet-holder.vala:106: Could not find plugin: xembed

but nothing show up. If I then install vala-panel-plugins-wnck and
vala-panel-appmenu the above warnings go away but there's still no
panel.
