libgtk2-appindicator-perl has no reverse dependencies and was already
removed from Testing. Perl apps that wish to use appindicators should
use gtk3 and GObject Introspection with
gir1.2-ayatanaappindicator3-0.1

Please remove libgtk2-appindicator-perl from Debian.

I got approval from the maintainer Mike Gabriel in
https://bugs.debian.org/889108 before filing this bug.
